Hello all and a Happy New Year to you. Our next committee meeting is coming up soon on Tuesday 17th January at Exeter Scrapstore at 7.30pm. I hope lots of you can make it, all members of the toy libraries are welcome.

Christmas Closing Dates

The last toy library sessions before Christmas will be on Thursday 15th December. Both toy libraries reopen as normal on Thursday 5^th January.

Special Offer! Three weeks for the price of one if you borrow over the Christmas closure. Contact us if you want to book particular toys or games.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported the toy libraries at our toy sale – we made over £224 with a little bit more still to come! Also a really big well done to the committee and Friends of Merry Go Round who organised and ran the event.

Volunteers needed

Our first Friends of MGR Fundraising event is on Sat 26th Nov 12-3pm in the Hut in the Park. If you would like to help on the day (stalls, refreshments etc) or can make cakes or soup or have toys or childrens’ books or can help with publicity we would love to hear from you!

Launch of Friends of Merry Go Round

This is a new and exciting opportunity for anyone who has an interest in supporting our charity and helping it become sustainable. Get involved with fund raising activities as part of a group, as an individual or family, or just make a donation.

Exeter Scrapstore 7.30pm on Wednesday 19th October

It is also our AGM (wine and nibbles provided) so you can get to meet our very friendly committee.

Thanks to everyone who voted for us in the Big Community Vote. Unfortunately we didn’t win but congratulations to The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys who gained the most votes (24%).
