Merry Go Round Toy & Leisure Library

Thanks to everyone who brought in their old clothes last week – we raised £97.20 for the toy libraries!

Lots of fun and time to do things with your children, with this year’s craft ideas based on a Rainforest theme.
Places are booking up fast, so do book soon if you want to come. Costs £1 per child per session, payable in advance either at Carousel Toy Library or West Exe Children’s Centre Reception. For toy library members from Merry Go Round or Carousel.
Dates: Mondays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd August from 10am to 12noon

We have been short listed in the Co-operative’s Big Community Vote and if  we get enough votes we will win £2000 for Merry Go Round!  You just need a Co-operative membership number which is on your Co-op card, or you can get a card from any Co-operative shop.

Good quality used toys, games and children’s books wanted for various fundraisers in aid of the toy libraries. Donations can be left during opening hours at either toy library, or dropped off at Exeter Scrapstore (say who it is for!). Many thanks for your support.

Both toy libraries are open as normal throughout the Easter holidays, so come and visit! Our Carousel branch will be closed on Thursday 5th May as the hall is being used for polling for the elections. Toys borrowed over this period will get 2 weeks for the price of one!

You can now donate a percentage of any ebay sales to Merry Go Round. Alternatively, you can make an online donation if you would like to support us directly. Please go to the funding page to find out more. All donations, large or small, are very welcome!

Both toy libraries will be closed over half term week (Tues 22nd and Thursday 24th February) but the good news is, you get two weeks for the price of one if you borrow over the dates we are closed!

All toy library members are welcome at our next committee meeting at 7.30pm on Wednesday January 19th at Exeter Scrapstore. If you would like to become more involved with the toy libraries just come along or contact us.
