New Website!

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Merry Go Round has a brand new design for its website. We hope it will give you lots of useful news and information about both Merry Go Round and Carousel Toy Libraries, as well as fully searchable catalogues of toys, books, multicultural and inclusive play items. To see the catalogues, please click on the tab for Merry Go Round – we’ll be adding Carousel’s catalogues soon. The site will be expanding in the near future to include sections about volunteering, the committee and fundraising. We’d love to know what you think about it – use the Contact page to let us know.

Tasters for Groups

Saturday, March 10th, 2007

We have just run our first group taster session at Carousel for the National Autistic Society. This was a one-off session held during the group’s normal meeting time to introduce parents, carers and children to our toys and play resources. It was lovely to get a chance to meet everyone!
Two more groups based in West Exe Children’s Centre have sessions booked with the toy library. Contact us if you would like more information.
